Recently my company purchased your freebsd software to put on an old Compaq
server of ours that we, with the help of our ISP are configuring for an
internet server. In the process we are trying to locate a Network Interface
Card that is supported by freebsd. The server is completely running EISA
and so our choices have been limited. On your list there is a card from
3com listed, 3C595 Etherlink III , but when I look for it at 3com's www it
comes up with a list of compatible cards and no reference to this particular
card. What I am asking is, on the compatibility list there is the 3c592 and
3c597 card that are EISA, are they compatible with freebsd? If so can I use
multiple cards in the same server?
Thanks,

Michael Sorenson
