I downloaded all of the install files from about three ftp sites onto a =
dos partition, as well as all of the package files. My question is, =
where do I put these files in the \FREEBSD directory so that the =
sysinstall will know where kde is ?? I tried putting the kde directory =
in the \freebsd\ports\kde, \freebsd\packages\kde, and \freebsd\kde. =
With these I have tried using different index files too. I get the =
option in the sysinstall menus to install kde as a package or a port =
(depending on which index file I used) but the install always comes up =
with errors saying that it cannot find the files. It can some other =
packages when I choose "all", but ones that I don't really need.

I'm not really sure where to go from here. I have all of the necessary =
files, but I don't know where to put them in the dos partition so that =
they'll actually install. =20

FreeBSD itself and x-windows have both installed ok.. but I just need to =
know how to get kde running plz. I've looked in errata files, manual =
pages, and so forth but I can't find the information I need.

Can you help me ?
