What is FreeBSD V 2.0.4? Are you running a Snapshot? The files you'll need
to update the 2940 driver are:

ftp.cdrom.com:/pub/FreeBSD/FreeBSD-current/src/sys/i386/scsi/*
ftp.cdrom.com:/pub/FreeBSD/FreeBSD-current/src/sys/i386/isa/aic7770.c
ftp.cdrom.com:/pub/FreeBSD/FreeBSD-current/src/sys/pci/aic7870.c
ftp.cdrom.com:/pub/FreeBSD/FreeBSD-current/src/sys/dev/aic7xxx/*
ftp.cdrom.com:/pub/FreeBSD/FreeBSD-current/src/sys/i386/conf/files.i386

These should work with any Snapshot after and including 950322.
