Hi,

I replaced "Logitech" with "busmouse" in XF86Config. Still no response!!
The warning message that I used to get after exiting from X went away,
though;
"Waring: unable to get status of mouse fd(Operation not supported by
device)"
I configured the kernel again with a different irq that's free. The device
is
detected upon boot. X comes up no problem but the mouse is still sleeping.
I configured the kernel with the following X-related lines in addition to
the line
for the device mse0:
options   XSERVER
options   UCONSOLE
Is there more to getting a mouse to work than what I did?
Please, help me!
Jae
