I am trying to setup a pppd as a server so that I can support dialup ppp. When I run pppd I get the following message in /var/log/messages: Nov 7 11:23:25 commerce pppd[23713]: ioctl(TIOCSCTTY): Operation not permitted Could this be a problem with ownership and/or permissions on /dev/ttyd1 (my dialup port)?
