I downloaded the entirety of 2.2.2 to C:\FREEBSD exactly as it is on
FTP4.FREEBSD.ORG/pub/freebsd/2.2.2-release. I want to install FreeBSD
to a parition (E:) on my second hard drive. I made the boot floppy and
I am able to configure the kernel with no problem, but the installation
insists on trying to install from the CD...so, the installation hangs
and I have to reset the computer. I checked the FreeBSD manual on the
web page, but only found instructions on how to prepare for a DOS
Partition install (which I already followed). Did I miss something?
