Specifically cd0: <ATAPI iHBS112 2 CL04> Removable CD-ROM SCSI-0 device I'm not 100% certain, but I think it's a Liteon (the name isn't printed on the externally visible part of the drive). I've had it for several years (three I think), and it's worked flawlessly since day one, with both sysutils/cdrtools-devel and sysutils/dvd+rw-tools. To my knowledge the maximum file size of mkisofs is 4GB, and since growisofs uses mkisofs for the fs creation, that limit applies to it as well. The limit is for the files contained in the ISO fs. The ISO file itself can be bigger. If you need bigger files, there is also sysutils/udfclient. I can't tell you how good/bad it is though, because I've never used it.
