I now skipped building VirtualBox from the ports. Instead I installed = the packages I was advised here. Following the installation instructions in the FreeBSD handbook chapter = 21.6.1, it says one should do a chown root:vboxusers /dev/vboxnetctl chmod 0660 /dev/vboxnetctl /dev/vboxnetctl does not exist. =E2=80=94 Christoph
