Is this perhaps an extended partition, with logical drives within
it? If so they begin with s5. So your ext2fs partition may be
/dev/ad1s5.  Make sure these devices exist in /dev and make sure
the opt dir on which you are trying to mount exists in /.
Also include the /dev before the partition device.
