I believe trx is available as part of the OpenWRT project.

Don't know. I would be careful as Linksys have been known to swap out 
parts; I had one of their Vonage branded routers which weren't hackable 
at all, and only had 2MB of flash on board. I think it was using some 
kind of ARM.
