What start-up message is displayed in your "httpd-error.log" file? For
instance, mine is:

Apache/2.2.17 (FreeBSD) DAV/2 PHP/5.3.4 with Suhosin-Patch mod_ssl/2.2.17 OpenSSL/1.0.0c configured -- resuming normal operations
