According to Pedro F. Giffuni: > Why hasn't anyone mentioned NAG ? > http://www.nag.co.uk/ > > It's in list of commercial FreeBSD software. > > Pedro. I have mentioned NAG. NAG produces a native FreeBSD Fortran 90 compiler. However, the last time I checked, NAG comes bundled with IMSL which drives the price up (~$900USD). Note: it is also difficult to get any pricing info from the URL. The Portland Groups product for linux costs ~$450USD when I purchased the compilers. It comes with a Fortran 77, Fortran 90, and HPF compilers. With the addition of the LinuxThreads that has been discussed the past few days, the HPF compiler should be able to take advantage of a SMP FreeBSD system. -- Steve finger kargl@troutmask.apl.washington.edu http://troutmask.apl.washington.edu/~clesceri/kargl.html To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hackers" in the body of the message
