I tested some.  No one has been able to give a reliable list of ports
that won't work and why.  With this commit, no one has the motivation to
deal with the issue.  Now they have to.  As a fallback we switch those
ports to use the linux_base-6 port.  But the whole problem with the two
linux_base* ports we've had is they do not co-exist at all.  I have a
strong suspicion we will need to add some of the linux_base-6 bits to the
linux_base port -- much like we install compat22 and compat4x on a
-current box.
