Expected behavior when you build the x11/xorg meta-port is that it builds the x11-drivers/xorg-drivers meta-port which by default should build and install x11-drivers/xf86-input-mouse (among other ports). http://pointyhat.freebsd.org/errorlogs/amd64-8-full-logs/xorg-7.5.log (sort of) confirms that.
