Correct.  Maybe I should have made it clear that there was no
intention of removing vinum permanently.  But the lack of warning
compounded the problem.  And vinum came in before klds were in any
really usable state (no kernel debug support, for example).  I was
expecting this change, and I do have a Vinum kld here, and with a bit
more work I'll have it up and running, but it would have been nice to
have a little warning (hell, even 2 days would have been enough).

I wasn't asking for consensus, I was asking for forewarning.

I don't know if you're referring to me here.  But I certainly did read
my mailbox.  That's how I know there was no ``heads up'' message.
