It's a gzipped tar file for the X-window system. It won't do anything
if you don't have FreeBSD and X installed. If you're planning on
installing FreeBSD, you'll need to read the handbook. You can find it
on the web at http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/handbook.html

Be sure to read the section on installing FreeBSD.
