I'd suggest reading the handbook, though I'm not sure how much there
is to document about it. Make sure you have the fd device(s) in your
kernel. Make sure dmesg shows the box recognizing it. Pop in a floppy
disk and mount it to a dir you've made for it. It's not exactly
quality documentation, but it's a point in the right drection.
