Hrm... I would say the FreeBSD community _DOES NEED_ high-end, commercial application support. What's the use of having the best OS if you can't run the best applications on it? How many of us have an NT and/or Linux box on hand just to run apps that won't run on FreeBSD. Perhaps. I'd like to think that Linus won't allow this to happen.
