I have one of these infamous Windows-only GDI printers, a Lexmark Z52, on a Linksys printserver. I am able to print to it from Linux after the handy Mandrake wizard walked me thru setting up cups/gimp-print. I have yet to make the effort to find those settings and get it working from my FreeBSD box, but one day.
