If it plugs directly into the scsi card, yes; otherwise, it's proprietary 
and no.

2.1 came out not to long ago, my guess is June or so.  (the first 2.2 
snapshot came out a few days ago)

If the salesman will let you :)  I HOPE that modern machines can take 
it.  You can run FBSD on a 386/16 if you want.

If the install floppy boots you should be OK.
