It's never perfectly safe to go from one OS revision to another,
whether that's 3.x -> 4.0 or 2.1.5 -> 2.2.8.  It's all in the skill of
the administrator and is pretty much release # neutral unless we've
really screwed up over here.  Should be no problem for you Brad,
you're a big dog, right? :)
