hi,

all my local scripts under /usr/local/etc/rc.d work fine....except for
one of them. here it is:

#!/bin/sh
case "$1" in
  start ) echo "qmail-pop3d started"
          tcpserver -v -R 0 pop3 /var/qmail/bin/qmail-popup \
             crunch.shivakaul.com \
             /usr/local/bin/checkpassword /var/qmail/bin/qmail-pop3d \
             Maildir 2>&1 | \
             /var/qmail/bin/splogger pop3d &
          echo $! > /var/run/qmail-pop3d.pid
          ;;

 stop   ) echo "qmail-pop3d stopped"
          kill `cat /var/run/qmail-pop3d.pid`
          rm -f /var/run/qmail-pop3d.pid
          ;;

 *      ) echo "Usage: pop3d.sh {start | stop}"
          exit 1
          ;;
esac

for some reason, this script does not execute on boot (yeah its perms
are correct). when i manually execute it everything works fine......what
could the problem be?
