I know about those two, they are built by compile_et.

They have been around for quite a while now, and are in the same place
in my obj/ tree. Someone (Bruce? Peter?) did some Makefile corrections
soon after the Great eBones Cleanup (tm) a while back, and i recall
it involved ${.CURDIR}s.

I am not much of a Makefile boffin, and will need help here.
