to all who replied .. thank you very much, i wa struggling a 
week ago with this question and now i have lots of good leads 
and even a second source recomendation .. both ricoh and yamaha 
are well represented her in australia so getting some sort of 
cd writer fro data and audio shouldn't be a problem
