Porter's handbook doesn't seem to touch this topic. What are the best
current practice for maintaining a stable and a -devel versions of a
port? Are any special arrangements to allow them to live side by side
desirable or one can safely assume that its stable XOR devel.

Thanks.

SY, Uwe
