I'm not sure there is a point here.  People like and use truetype
fonts, including myself.

Anyway, my take on the issue is that XFree86-4 needs to become a
metaport and XFree86-4-* needs to be upgraded.  Are you willing
to help with that so we can provide users wih the granularity so
many of them look for?
