I just installed my new Intel NIC and it shows up fine in dmesg. I have also added these lines to rc.conf. network_interfaces="fxp0" ifconfig_fxp0="DHCP" However, on reboot, I get this when I run an ifconfig -a inet 0.0.0.0 netmask 0xff000000 broadcast 255.255.255.255 I'm assuming that I should have a real IP. In windows I don't use any software other than setting TCP/IP to not use DNS and obtain an IP automatically. I also have Lan Settings set to automatically detect settings and use a proxy is enabled. Any ideas? The service is powerlink. Ian __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get personalized email addresses from Yahoo!
