Hmm, I wasn't aware digicams had to be mounted per se, but from the `man
mount` manpage, it looks like mount can call various /sbin/mount_* binaries
so perhaps the manufacturer of your digicam has a file or FAQ about this?

Did you try mount -t msdos?  M$FT rules the world, so maybe...
