It's not.  I'm using a Logitech MouseMan Cordless+ on an L440GX+
motherboard and my PS/2 mouse won't work properly unless I disable ACPI.
It worked at some point a month or so prior to the RC series.  I've been
meaning to look into it but never got around to it.

But try disabling ACPI and see if your PS/2 mouse suddenly works. ;)
