The file copy method it used was broken in -p3, resulting in 0 byte JAR files in the cache. Look at the contents of ~/.IntelliJIdea/system/jars that this is your problem, then upgrade your JDK to -p4. If that's not your problem, are you sure you followed the idea-3.0.5/Install.txt instructions to the letter? They're a bit weird, but worth following strictly. Ciao, Sheldon.
