This thread is the best example of a bikeshed that I've seen in a long
while. It's also a complete waste of time. Changing the MAINTAINER field
in the Makefiles will break a lot of tools, and provide no benefit. If
you want your full name associated with a port, put it in a comment in
the Makefile, or put it in pkg-descr where it has always gone. If you
don't care about this, then don't. Either way, I suggest that you put
all of this energy into finding an actual problem to solve.
