Thanks for the pointer, Kris! I just kldload-ed `drm', but nothing
changed :-( There is still no /dev/3dfx* and X-server still says:

	[drm] failed to load kernel module "tdfx"
	(EE) TDFX(0): [dri] DRIScreenInit failed, disabling DRI.

(I'm not sure, why it tries to load the module, since the functionality is 
linked into kernel directly.)

But DRI is not working anyway...
