Good catch nontheless.  I updated UPDATING accordingly.

Jeremie, can you provide kern.osreldate and a bit more information about=20
your setup?  i.e. what's in your loader.conf?  There have been some=20
problems with firmware(9) in the past, that should be taken care of by=20
now.  Could you try to update to a more recent current?  Using the=20
firmware from base shouldn't hurt either.
