Our box : # uname -r 6.2-RELEASE-p2 This is an amd64 release Updates on GENERIC : options QUOTA device pf device pflog options SMP Kernel messages : cpuid = 0; apic id = 00 fault virtual address = 0x18c fault code = supervisor read, page not present current process = 5 (thread taskq) trap number = 12 panic: page fault cpuid = 0 The hardware i'm using : - Tyan S5380G2NN motherboard with Intel 5000P chipset - Dual Intel Xeon 5140 dual-core 2,33GHz processors - 2GB FB-DIMM RAM - 3Ware 9550SX-4LP RAID controller code-set 9.3.0.7 PCI-X Software : - Dovecot POP3/IMAP - Apache HTTP/HTTPS - Postfix SMTP - 3DM2 for 3Ware management Symptoms : The system locks up once every few days with the kernel messages shown. It doesn't auto-reboot (although it says that on the terminal), it just freezes and power-down is my only help.
