VMware's ESX 4 (vSphere) includes official support for FreeBSD 6 and 7: http://www.vmware.com/support/vsphere4/doc/vsp_40_new_feat.html FreeBSD has always worked just fine as a VMware guest OS, but official support probably warrants a mention. Lack of official support for FreeBSD by VMware was one of the hurdles I had to overcome when trying to sell a customer on a FreeBSD solution. -Snow
