Frank Ortega, the author of GMV, told me that I am the first person to
ask for a FreeBSD port of his utility. He also stated that at Los
Alamos National Laboratory he didn't know anyone using FreeBSD, but if
we prove (by requesting the port) that a FreeBSD version would be useful
he wouldn't doubt in releasing a binary.
If you are interested, please drop Frank a line:

cheers,

    Pedro.
