Hello!

I am trying to compile Qt-1.40 on a 2.2.6-System. I set all pathes
needed by the package and started compiling. However, these errors
occurred:

- using "make freebsd-g++-shared":
  [...]
  tsort: kernel/qimage.o
  -Bshareable: not found
  ***Error code 127

  Stop.
  ***Error code 1

- using "make freebsd-g++-static":
  [...]
  ar: illegal option --s
  usage: [...]
  ***Error code 1
  Stop.

What did I do wrong? I have installed several versions of Qt on FreeBSD
(never the ports), and I did not ever encounter any porblems.
Please help!

        Stefan.
