It does.  On the other hand, how can anyone else possibly know that the
PR has been solved, other than the person who wrote the PR?

Right.  Until it "is really resolved" it shouldn't be closed, it should
be in another status that means "Hey, PR originator, go see if this has
been fixed to your liking."  That state is "feedback", not closed.
