Hi. I am currently trying to get my handspring visor to sync under 4.2-STABLE. I am using coldsync v.1.4.6 which I believe to be current and stable. Relevant dmesg-output: uhci0: <Intel 82371AB/EB (PIIX4) USB controller> port 0xb400-0xb41f irq 4 at devic e 4.2 on pci0 usb0: <Intel 82371AB/EB (PIIX4) USB controller> on uhci0 usb0: USB revision 1.0 uhub0: Intel UHCI root hub, class 9/0, rev 1.00/1.00, addr 1 uhub0: 2 ports with 2 removable, self powered If I do: [05:50pm]-root@dissent# coldsync -p /dev/ugen0 -t usb Please press the HotSync button. pconn_usb_open: Can't open USB deviceopen: Bad file descriptor new_PConnection: error opening port "/dev/ugen0" open: Bad file descriptor Error: can't open connection. Looking thru the archives I notice that this has worked for most people. Any ideas on what is going wrong?
