Yep,

On all my systems that have an A-Open CD-ROM.

E.g. my Pentium 200 MMX:

...
CPU: Pentium/P55C (199.43-MHz 586-class CPU)
...
acd0: CDROM <CD-ROM 48X/AKU> at ata1-master PIO4
...
acd0: READ_BIG command timeout - resetting
ata1: resetting devices .. done
acd0: READ_BIG command timeout - resetting
ata1: resetting devices .. done
acd0: READ_BIG command timeout - resetting
ata1: resetting devices .. done

This happens when reading large amount of data from the CD-ROM, in this
case the 4.6-RELEASE CD 1, with: tar cvf /var/junk.tar /cdrom.

This is STABLE as of yesterday.

It also happens during a CD-ROM install, at least with 4.6-RELEASE and
4.6.1-RC2.

On one of my other systems (Dual Celeron 466, AOpen 52x) exactly the
same happened, but there I could successfully set hw.ata.atapi_dma=1 in
the loader. Since then the CD-ROM functioned perfectly.

Kind regards,

Hans
