.... I did a 'pkg upgrade' yesterday, & now whenever I invoke htop from
the XFCE desktop menu, it pops up (*very*) briefly, then disappears. No
info in /var/log/'messages, no other clues .... FBSD 9.3, XFCE desktop:

[root@kabini1, /etc, 5:30:20pm] 593 % uname -a
FreeBSD kabini1.local 9.3-RELEASE FreeBSD 9.3-RELEASE #0 r268512: Thu
Jul 10 23:44:39 UTC 2014
root@snap.freebsd.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC amd64
[root@kabini1, /etc, 5:32:38pm] 594 % grep xfce\- LIST.installed.txt
gtk-xfce-engine-3.0.1_1 Xfce gtk theme engine
xfce-4.10_6 The "meta-port" for the Xfce Desktop
Environment
[root@kabini1, /etc, 5:32:54pm] 595 %

Any help appreciated .... TIA ....
