EUI64 seems invalid.
Do you get the same id on FreeBSD-5 and PowerBook?

It's not necessary because of firewire implementation.
If the parent bus such as PCI/Cardbus is not initialized correctly,
the firewire can not work correctly.

The firewire codes in -stable and -current are very close.
PCI and related codes are very different.
