Poul, You have probably given up on me :-) I don't blame you... I have a new cut of the PCMCIA stuff that is a fairly complete rewrite with the following changes: - Split off the controller specific stuff from a generic PCCARD front end in the kernel. - The controller specific stuff is done as a LKM. - A new driver interface that uses LKMs to load the drivers - Drivers that unload and load when cards are unplugged. - Multiple drivers per card to allow multi-function cards to work. - Multiple different controller types (like PCIC or TCIC) that work together. - In progress assimilation with the APM stuff. Where can I send this? I think it is a much better code base than the last stuff, since it is a second attempt, and is based on a more generic model.
