I have a Intel Pentium 4 530J (3.0GHz with the NX-bit) on an Asus P5GD1-VM
and I am currently unable to resume via the keyboard, mouse or power button
after putting the machine into S3 suspend.

As per section 11.16.1 of the FreeBSD handbook:

Here is the sysctl hw.acpi output:

hw.acpi.supported_sleep_state: S1 S3 S4 S5
hw.acpi.power_button_state: S3 -- I set this and sleep_button_state
to S3 in /etc/sysctl.conf, it was originally S5
hw.acpi.sleep_button_state: S3
hw.acpi.lid_switch_state: NONE
hw.acpi.standby_state: S1
hw.acpi.suspend_state: S3
hw.acpi.sleep_delay: 1
hw.acpi.s4bios: 0
hw.acpi.verbose: 0
hw.acpi.disable_on_reboot: 0
hw.acpi.handle_reboot: 0
hw.acpi.reset_video: 0
hw.acpi.cpu.cx_lowest: C1

# acpidump -dt > sean-Intel-Pentium4-530J.asl
acpidump: RSDT entry 2 (sig OEMB) is corrupt -- should I be
concerned about this?

My ASL dump is available at:
http://icchan.homeip.net/sean-Intel-Pentium4-530J.asl

As it is also lengthy, dmesg output is available at:
http://icchan.homeip.net/dmesg.out

I would appreciate any and all suggestions you might have on this issue.

Thanks in advance,
Sean
