Hello.

While using afbackup 3.3.7pl3 as backupsoftware and FreeBSD 4.7-R
as OS, since the change to 4.6.2pl2 I get massive kernel logs from
a HP SureStore 40x6i and a HP DAT 40 drive. It seems that filemarks could
not be written:

(sa0:sym0:0:4:0): Invalid request. Fixed block device requests must be a multiple of 1024 bytes

(sa0:sym0:0:4:0): MEDIUM ERROR asc:3b,0
(sa0:sym0:0:4:0): Sequential positioning error
(sa0:sym0:0:4:0): failed to write terminating filemark(s)
(sa0:sym0:0:4:0): tape is now frozen- use an OFFLINE, REWIND or MTEOM command to clear this state.

Tape unit uses these standards:

Mode Density Blocksize bpi Compression
Current: 0x26:DDS-4 1024 bytes 97000 DCLZ
---------available modes---------
0: 0x26:DDS-4 1024 bytes 97000 DCLZ
1: 0x26:DDS-4 1024 bytes 97000 DCLZ
2: 0x26:DDS-4 1024 bytes 97000 DCLZ
3: 0x26:DDS-4 1024 bytes 97000 DCLZ
---------------------------------
Current Driver State: at rest.
---------------------------------
File Number: 0 Record Number: 0 Residual Count 0

Filemarks:

root: /dev: mt -f /dev/sa0.ctl geteotmodel
/dev/sa0.ctl: the model is 1 filemark at EOT

(but the appropriate Kernel-Option for EOT model is not! set).

Any ideas?
