I have both FreeBSD 5.1 and 4.8 installed on a machine at home. In this machine I have a firewire card with a DVD burner attached. Though the card and burner are recognized and work great under 5.1, 4.8 doesn't see either despite the fact that I have the firewire device and sbp device compiled into my kernel. Is this just unsupported under 4.8? Adam
