   * Ability to install and configure PostgreSQL databases
   * 1 or more years of experience with rsync
   * Familiarity with GPG, OpenSSH, OpenVPN

   * install and configure internal and client servers/software
   * monitor and optimize system performance and nightly/incremental offsite
     backups
   * coordinate with technical team on improvements to infrastructure
   * communicate with internal and external clients (standard reports, email,
support ticket followup, and IRC coordination)
   * coordinate with hardware vendor on new and replacement components

We are a rapidly growing and dynamic company, offering competitive benefits and
a casual working environment. The sysadmin team works remotely throughout the
U.S., so telecommuting is an option for this position. Visits to our New Haven,
CT, headquarters will be required a few times per year. In this position, you
would have the opportunity to work with an experienced and dedicated
development team. Compensation is commensurate with experience. To apply, send
a resume and cover letter to: sysadmin_employment@prometheusresearch.com
