i have a pentium board with sis-sb16 compatible sound. I can hear pcm sound (i.e. mpg123 works) the mixer works for this. The ascd program can control my cd drive .. but i hear no CD-SOUND. It works all under windows. I use the current freebsd-stable kernel sources and the oss driver (not the pcm device). Any ideas? -- Fritz Heinrichmeyer mailto:fritz.heinrichmeyer@fernuni-hagen.de FernUniversitaet Hagen, LG ES, 58084 Hagen (Germany) tel:+49 2331/987-1166 fax:987-355 http://ES-i2.fernuni-hagen.de/~jfh To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
