The delay is there because the author wants to go beta before releasing to the world to get a larger feedback. We're ten or so to do the alpha testing. The author wants to polish the user interface. He feels that Newsview lacks some features (like auto scoring) and that it is not yet time to put it out. I don't think he would mind some other alpha-testers so I can send the 0.23 version to anyone who ask (I'll ask him though before). There is also a mailing-list for Newsview testers.
