FYI, 5.5 is officially supported until May 31, 2008. See http://www.freebsd.org/security/#adv Only security fixes would go into the 5.5 release branch, however. If you have to run 5.x I'd recommend 5-STABLE as regular bug fixes can be committed there. Craig
